We recently received a request from an old friend of Terry Allebone,  Robin Cook who worked with Terry at Crawley in the early 1970's asking about Terry’s whereabouts.  Terry served here in the Bermuda Police from July 1972 - July 1980, and Robin was aware that he was living in Horsham in the late 1980's.

On checking our records we have Terry on our List of Deceased Former Police Officers but we have no idea who provided us with information or when we received it.

Wayne Robinson wrote to us and advised that Terry passed on several years ago; he had a profile on friends reunited which indicated that.

Editors note - I recall that we had been advised that Tery had  died but I couldn't remember where we got the information from.  If anyone can pass on further details of where Terry had been living and where and when he died it would be appreciated.  Every October we provide a list to the Police Service of those retired and former colleagues who have died in the preceding 12 months, and the Commissioner of Police kindly reads out their names during the annual Memorial Service held at the Police Cemetery,  Prospect, during Police Week.
