Young P.C. Terry Lee
 

We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of our old friend and colleague, former P.C. Terry Lee, who served in the Bermuda Police from 1st November 1971 – 18th May 1982.  Terry passed away on 29th March 2023 at the age of 69.

Terry was a Police Cadet for almost 3 years before attending Basic Training Course #18 in 1974.

Following his training course Terry was first posted to “A” Department (Administration) for several months before spells in Central Division (Hamilton), Western (Somerset) from September 1975 – January 1977, after which he was posted to Cycle Squad, and had spells back in Central  Division, including Parish Constable in Devonshire South, in “D” Department (Prosecutions) and in Operations (Traffic).  

Terry was an active member of the boxing group, and he fought in the Annual Evening of Boxing events on two occasions against Frankie “Bill” Foggo, and once Clyde “Tango” Burgess.

Terry left the BPS in May 1982 after which he worked for the Market Place warehouse for over 20 years.

We understand that Terry had been in failing health in recent months.
